2017 USPAA Conference Call for Presentations
The Call for Programs for the 2017 USPAA Conference is now officially open! Share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues when we come together in St. Louis on May 31-June 2, 2017. Deadline for proposals is Friday, April 14.
All ideas are welcome. I’ve included several possible topics for presentations below. Formal presentations are not a requirement; some of our most successful programs have been casual round-table discussions.
Ideas for session topics include:
Recruitment – Publicizing programs; Designing applications and essay and interview questions; Training interviewers; Best practices during recruitment events; Use of social media; Yield strategies
Scholar Programming – Leadership training; Civic engagement and volunteerism; Study abroad; Best programming moments; Retreats; Safety and well-being
Collaboration on/off campus – National Scholarships & Awards; Financial Aid; Admissions; Development; International programming; Faculty
